Trine Skjøth considers the human face to be a sort of canvas. She views her own work with makeup as a tool for adaptation and customization, in this way enhancing and supporting the general, overarching vision: “I am a very strong team player and I support the overall goal. For me it's not about my ego – I believe that no beauty comes out of satisfying my own ego, but only as a collective goal and force. I hardly ever read fashion magazines. Instead, I reflect on the mood inside me. Most of my creative concepts come from being inspired by art and my own personal feelings and ideas.”

Her primary driving force is her passion for enhancing features, using makeup to add details or enhance emotions and expressions. Her signature style is her sense of “imperfect perfection”, using colours to create playful and organic shapes. In addition to being Chanel’s official Danish makeup artist, Trine Skjøth’s list of commercial clients includes GANNI, H&M, Saks Potts, Vero Moda, and Sophie Bille Brahe. She is also highly sought-after for creating editorial content, and her work has appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, COVER Magazine, StyleBy Magazine, and Space Magazine.
