STYLIST MARINA KEREKLIDOU
Marina Kereklidou is a well known fashion personality in Sweden. Her style, classic and sensual with a twist, appears both in exclusive high fashion- and mainstream venues.
Between 1997 and 2001 she successfully managed her own brand, Kereklidou, for which she created thirteen collections and was named “Designer of the Year” by Swedish Elle.
Her background as a designer has given her a unique eye for the tailored, for structure and volume. Since she has also worked as a model she is deeply familiar with all aspects of the industry.
These days her clients include H&M, Lindex, Björn Borg, Absolut Vodka, Coca-Cola, Mio, and NK. She is also fashion editor at the prestigious fashion and cultural magazine Bon.
During her career she has been commissioned to design clothes and videos for a number of Swedish and international artists. Among these are the Cardigans, Nina Persson’s A Camp, Britney Spears, Kent, Robyn, BWO, and Helena Paparizou.
Marina also creates campaigns for new praised Swedish designers like Dagmar, Fifth Avenue, Shoe Repair and Myrorna. In addition to style assignments for a number of fashion shows, Marina has also created exhibitions for high-end art gallery Wetterling Gallery and been a member of the jury that selects artists for the Spring
Salon at Liljevalchs.
Her in-depth industry knowledge and great versatility makes Marina one of the few stylists who can take creative responsibility for an all-encompassing concept. like co-ordinating TV channel TV4’s new graphics launch and department store NK’s catalogue and fashion show. Her pictures, commercials, and shows are the creations of a true artist that always retain a distinct feminine touch.
Marina attended Beckmans College of Design 1991-94 and is now a highly appreciated mentor for the schools graduating fashion students.
