SOFIA RONTHÉN
Sofia Ronthén, born 1971, has worked with all the biggest brands, ad agencies, and magazines. As a fashion student at Beckmans in 1995 she began to assist Cia Jansson, fashion editor at Swedish Elle, and launched her career with a number of TV commercials.
Before she graduated she had already become self-employed. Since then she has divided her time to work with styling and props.
Today she primarily works with advertising clients. A selection from the well-stocked list includes Gant, Volvo, Kappahl, SJ, Twilfit, Ikea, AMF, Nokia, and Mitsubishi.
One of her chief strengths is her total engagement and comprehensive insight into the commercial process. She’s well-known for being a fast and highly motivated worker. She also takes great interest in studying how efficient “her” campaigns have been.
Sofia was also the costume designer on the much-lauded Swedish feature film ”Linas kvällsbok”.
She also finds time for editorial work, primarily for Swedish Elle.
