LISELOTTE WATKINS
Liselotte Watkins, född 1971, är en av Sveriges främsta bildkreatörer. Utbildad på Art Institute of Dallas inledde hon som 24-åring sin karriär i New York som illustratör. Hennes unika stil fick genast stor uppmärksamhet och hon fick det prestigefyllda uppdraget att göra Barneys New Yorks sminkannons i New York Times varje söndag.
Idag arbetar Liselotte med många av de största. Bland de redaktionella uppdragsgivarna finns The New Yorker, Vogue, Elle, Bon och Tush. Bland de kommersiella märks H&M, Miu Miu, NK, Net-a-porter, Vagabond, KappAhl, MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, Anna Sui och Rodebjer. Liselotte är också en efterfrågad set designer. Bland uppdragsgivarna där finns JC, Volvo, Marabou, NK, Bon, Elle, Rodebjer och TV4.
Liselottes bilder är oefterhärmliga, makalösa i sin orginalitet. Samtidigt är största styrkan hennes ständiga rastlöshet. Hon står hon aldrig stilla, utan förfinar och förändrar sin stil.
Liselotte arbetade från New York i fem år, men har idag Stockholm som bas. Hon har givit ut boken ”Watkin´s Heroine” och snart kommer uppföljarna ”Watkin´s Box of Pinups” och ” Watkin´s No 1”.

Her unique style garnered immediate attention and she landed the prestigious assignment to illustrate Barney’s make-up advertising every Sunday in The New York Times.
Today Liselotte works with many of the biggest clients. Her editorial clients include The New Yorker, Vogue, Elle, Bon and Tush. Among the the commercial clients, one finds H&M, Miu Miu, NK, Net-a-porter, Vagabond, KappAhl, MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, Anna Sui, and Rodebjer. Liselotte is also a highly sought-after set designer. Liselotte’s style is unmatchable, stunningly original. At the same time her strength is her never-ending restlessness. She never stays complacent, but ceaselessly refines and transforms her style.
Liselotte was based in New York for five years, but today she works out of Stockholm. She has published a book, ”Watkin’s Heroine”, which will soon be followed by ”Watkin’s Box of Pin-ups” and ”Watkin’s No 1”.
