Johan Svenson

JOHAN SVENSON

Johan Svenson, born 1976, entered the industry as an art director’s assistant and built his professional skills through feature films, tv productions and tv commercials. During that same time he attended art schools and studied Art History and Sociology at Stockholm university.

Johan is passionate about the conceptual work and constructing images. Johan has a very definite feel for color and the inherent dramatic roles that colors can play. He always achieves the right tone through how he uses structure and form. To convey a unique vision in a picture, or in a narrative, requires the ability to combine the right details to visual unity, and this is one of Johan’s main strengths.

Johan’s editorial clients include Elle, View of the Times, and Dagens Nyheter. Commercial clients include SVT Fiktion, TV4, THe Mustard Filmcompany, and several of the larger Swedish production companies.
