Calle Stoltz, was born 1974 on Gotland, but grew up in Stockholm. Despite his young age he has already had a long career. He has worked as a photographer since he was 21 years old and before that he spent three years assisting, among others Mattias Edwall.
Calle is renowned for his powerful, contrast-rich fashion photos that have a portrait-like feeling. He brings forth the personality of the model and utilizes the form and shape of the body in his edgy imagery. Even though the moment often dictates the style, he always adds extra effort to achieve perfection in his pictures. Calle represents thorough and consistent craftsmanship.
Half of his clients are Swedish, and the other half foreign. He also splits his time equally between editorial and commercial assignments. Among his clients are Absolut Vodka, WESC, Schwarzkopf, Dagens Nyheter, Nokia, Stefanel, Telenor, Renault and aid organization Cordaid.
His editorial clients include Tush, Elle, Plaza, Café, Feld, NK Stil, Dansk and Fjords.
Calle is also a skillful portrait photographer. Among other, he has photographed Ernst-Hugo Järegård, Kristian Luuk and Lena Olin.
